Brandy Marinade

1/3 Cup Brandy, bourbon whiskey or beef broth

1/3 cup soy

2 Tablespoons packed brown sugar

2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil

½ teaspoon of pepper

1 small onion, chopped (about ¼ cup)

1 clove of garlic, finely chopped

Mix all ingredients in a shallow glass or plastic dish. Place meat in dish and turn to coat all side with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 24 hours, turning meat occasionally. I like to put it in a ziplock bag overnight.

Double all measurements if you have a lot of steak.
