Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, try homemade mayonnaise
- Optional – not in the UK version - 1 small dill pickle, chopped very small (3 tablespoons) or may try “bread and butter” style pickle
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste
- 1 tablespoon capers, chopped
- ½ a red onion grated or Shallot
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, optional
- Salt and fresh ground black pepper
Directions
- Stir until the mixture is blended.
- Refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes. It gets better and better overtime.
- You can swap the mayonnaise for light mayo or plain yogurt.
