This recipe have been adjust for around 5,000 feet above sea level.

These were tried in a Breadman bread machine.

 

My favorite 1 ½ lb loaf:

  • 1 ½ cups +2 Tbsp of water
  • 2 Tbsp butter or olive oil or Canola Oil or 2 Laughing Cow cheese wedges your choice
  • 3 cups of bread flour
  • 1/3 cup of either whole wheat flour or Buckwheat or bran or Quaker Oats, you choose
  • 2 Tbsp Flax seed
  • 3 Tbsp Vital wheat gluten
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
