This recipe have been adjust for around 5,000 feet above sea level.
These were tried in a Breadman bread machine.
My favorite 1 ½ lb loaf:
- 1 ½ cups +2 Tbsp of water
- 2 Tbsp butter or olive oil or Canola Oil or 2 Laughing Cow cheese wedges your choice
- 3 cups of bread flour
- 1/3 cup of either whole wheat flour or Buckwheat or bran or Quaker Oats, you choose
- 2 Tbsp Flax seed
- 3 Tbsp Vital wheat gluten
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
