Banana Bread (2)

Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 stick of butter
• 1 cup of sugar
• 3 eggs
• 4 ripe bananas
• 1 tspn vanilla essence
• 2 cups of flour
• 2 tspns baking powder
• ½ cup chocolate chips or butterscotch chips

 Method

Heat oven to 350F

Mix softened butter with sugar then add one egg at a time until blended well.

Then add the bananas and vanilla essence. Mix again.

Add the flour and with a large spoon, fold in the flour, baking powder and chips.

For the oven

Line a loaf tin with parchment paper.

Add the mixture to the tin and bake for approx 1 hour, test with a cocktail stick. If it come out clean it is ready, if not cook for 5 , minutes more, until the cocktail stick come out clean.

 For Bread machine

Place ingredients into the bread machine pan, select cake or bake then press start.
