Ingredients
- 6Og/2oz butter or margarine
- ½ bulb garlic, crushed.
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 pint of cream
- 1 tablespoon of corn starch
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 10 oz pasta shells
- 450g/lb prawns/shrimp, shelled and de-veined.
- 120g/4oz scallops, cleaned and sliced
- Smoked salmon chunks
- Lobster chunks (Optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Method
- Melt the butter in a pan. Add the garlic cook for a minute
- Add wine and cream and bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes
- In a cup, mix the corn starch and water and make a paste. Add to the sauce
- Add the lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste
- In another pan cook the pasta in boiling, salted water, for about 10 minutes, until tender. Drain, shaking to remove the excess water.
- Add the prawns, scallops, salmon and lobster to the sauce and cook for about 3 minutes
- Pour the sauce over the pasta, toss together, sprinkle with parsley and serve
Preparation takes 5 minutes, cooking takes 15 minutes.
