Ingredients

  • 6Og/2oz butter or margarine
  • ½ bulb garlic, crushed.
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 pint of cream
  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 oz pasta shells
  • 450g/lb prawns/shrimp, shelled and de-veined.
  • 120g/4oz scallops, cleaned and sliced
  • Smoked salmon chunks
  • Lobster chunks (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Method

  • Melt the butter in a pan. Add the garlic cook for a minute
  • Add wine and cream and bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes
  • In a cup, mix the corn starch and water and make a paste. Add to the sauce
  • Add the lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste
  • In another pan cook the pasta in boiling, salted water, for about 10 minutes, until tender. Drain, shaking to remove the excess water.
  • Add the prawns, scallops, salmon and lobster to the sauce and cook for about 3 minutes
  • Pour the sauce over the pasta, toss together, sprinkle with parsley and serve

Preparation takes 5 minutes, cooking takes 15 minutes.
