RHUBARB CAKE
- 1 - 1/2 c. sugar

1 egg

1/2 c. shortening, butter or margarine
Mix together and add:

1 c. sour milk (To sour milk, add 1 T. vinegar to 1 c. milk)

1 tsp. soda (Mixed into milk)

2 c. raw rhubarb, cut in pieces

2 - 1/2 c. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

Chopped nuts (optional)
Pour into 9 X 13 in. pan and sprinkle top with mixture of 2 T. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Bake 30 min. at 350 degrees.
